Do you have a good understanding of office administration systems, proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and experience of producing spreadsheets and maintaining computer databases? Would you like to be part of an organisation that counts on the professionalism, insight, expertise and passion of its staff to inspire individual recovery for the people they work with? Then join us as a Administrator.
Recovery Focus is a new group of expert charities with the shared aim to inspire individual recovery nationwide. Between us we have a track record of more than 200 years of developing and running personalised services that work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions. Each partner organisation has its own rich history of success, but together we believe we can lead the way in evidence‐based recovery pathways, tailored to meet local and individual needs.
Right now, one of our partners, DVIP, is looking for an Administrator to join their Family Court team. DVIP has been helping to make women and children safer for over 25 years. Specifically, they work to stop domestic violence and to reduce the harm it causes to women, children and families. But it’s only possible with the vital office based support of people like you.
Our Family Court Risk Assessment Team carries out risk and vulnerability assessments in cases where it is believed that domestic violence poses a risk to the welfare of children. And, right now they need your support. Specifically, you’ll be the first point of contact for all external professionals seeking our Family Court Team services. This will typically involve taking and managing referrals, obtaining documentation for case files and administering the process of allocation and case management under the Team Manager. However, you’ll also get to contribute to our marketing strategy to increase referrals into the team, help develop the team’s administrative systems and processes, act as cover for other workers who are interviewing clients, and lots more besides.
As well as great office admin and report writing skills, we’ll be looking for the ability to organise your own workload, use your initiative and meet deadlines. You’ll also need to be a great team player with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people, sometimes over sensitive and/or complex issues. And, if you have a flair for promoting and marketing services to external referrers and/or an understanding of the nature of domestic violence and its effects on women and children, even better.
In return, you can expect some great benefits, including 32 days' holiday, contributory pension scheme, employee assistance programme and childcare vouchers, plus exceptional professional development and training opportunities.
So, get inspired and take the first steps towards a more fulfilling career.
